Politically Here is meant to be a documentation of immigrants and second-generation who have pursued politics in the United Kingdom especially in the East and South-East Asian (ESEA) community.
What this website hopes to achieve is to explore how this is possible, the rising numbers of ESEA candidates, as well as current immigration policies. It also hopes to highlight these politicians and serve as a primer to UK politics.
About Me
Leanne Tan is a student journalist completing their MA in Multimedia Journalism (Print & Online) at the University of Westminster.
They come from Malaysia, a multicultural country with a complicated relationship with its people and immigrants. Politically Here is their final journalism project.
